Bavaria Casinos
I’ve been playing at online casinos for a number of years now.  Unfortunately, because of the online casino ban that is currently ruining my evenings and weekends I’ve been forced to take my gambling to actual casinos.

All this happened to coincide with a business trip to the south of Germany – Bavaria as they call it.  I think everyone associates Germany – especially the south – with drinking inordinate amounts of beer and, to a lesser extent, liederhosen (the funny suspender-shorts).

To my delight, there are a number of excellent casinos scattered around Munich and its environs.  The casino I spent most of time at – the name escapes me – had a traditional Bavarian theme to it complete with the traditional Bavarian music and bouncing Fraueleins in their milk maiden garb.

All of the traditional casino games are there: slots, craps, roulette, etc so it makes the transition easy.  Despite my abysmal German, English is accepted and most of the signs are in German and English to cater to the international clientele.  And in keeping with Bavarian hospitality there is plenty of beer and bratwursts to consume while sitting at the slot machines or waiting your turn at the craps table.

All in all, it was a successful weekend.  I managed to win a bit of money and get my gambling fix.
