Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is an exciting banking poker game which has developed under the influence of the popular game of poker and the antique Chinese game, Pai Gow. For the past decade Pai go poker has become tremendously popular in the casinos worldwide.

In Pai Gow poker you are dealt seven cards and the aim of the game is to make two hands which, at the end of the round will beat the dealer's two hands. You need to make a high hand, consisting of five cards and a low one, consisting of two cards. This game is very easy to play as the rules, the playing and the ranking of the hands are almost similar to those in traditional poker. The highest ranking hand consists of five aces and it is higher than a royal flush.

The Pai Gow table arrangement has one spot in front of the dealer and six for the players. The players’ spots have spaces for bets.

As it is a game of skill, your winning odds at Pai Gow poker are incredibly high. Your chances of winning basically depend on two factors: on how to set your hand and how much you should bet. If you make these decisions wisely, then winning will definitely come.

You need to make the highest two card hand that is lower than your five card hand. Many players tend to consider that in most cases pairs win the low hands, and two pairs wins the high hands. If you fail to divide your seven cards accurately into a highest and a second highest hand, you have a dead or a foul hand.

So, it’s all about knowing when to split 2 pairs and this is where you have to act according to the House rules. As for the betting, it’s good to always remember to bet only what you can afford to lose, but if you’re self-confident and have good cards, it’s good to take your chances because, as they say, no gods, no glory! The lowest betting limits are of about $5, they are accessible, but think about the winning part: the more you bet, the more you can win!

Online Pai Gow poker is even easier to play, because while playing online, the computer does all the work for you. You receive your seven cards and you need to split them into two hands: a high one, made up of 5 cards and a low one, made up by 2 cards. Your hands must beat the dealers’ hands in order to win the game prize. If both your hands beat the dealer's two hands, you get even money on your bet, for instance 1 to 1. If you only win one hand, it is a tie. There are casinos where, from time to time you have the chance to be the banker and in the banker’s position you have the advantage of winning the ties!

Choose Pai Go poker and you’ll see the boundary between playing and winning sooner than you may expect!
